About the Company:
A long-term investment in expertise and craftsmanship.
Hayward’s 1890 has been in Santa Barbara since, you guessed it, 1890! The store has sold various items over the years but now provides curated, high-quality outdoor furniture and accessories to the Santa Barbara area. Hayward’s stands out in the market because of the staff’s expertise and their products’ superb craftsmanship. With the mission of making the patio your favorite room in the house, Hayward’s needed a way to reach their customers with new ideas about how to redesign their spaces. But without a website, an email list or a Facebook page, Hayward’s knew they needed to get online.
Hugh confessed,”Before I met the team at ZeeBlu, I was on the digital marketing sidelines, I wasn’t really a participant, I knew about it. I didn’t have a Facebook page, I didn’t have a website, I didn’t Twitter. I didn’t do any of that stuff.” Hugh knew that his absence was leading to lost sales and customer relationships, and he had confidence that ZeeBlu’s enthusiasm and commitment would take him where he needed to go. When asked what really clinched his decision to move forward, he remarked, “I think it was Nick’s enthusiasm and just his general commitment to a program, and if I just followed along with him, it would all fall into place, he’d get it done, and it’d be sort of background noise for me which is good, cause I have a lot going on.”
What ZeeBlu Did:
Expertly designed furniture needs an expertly designed website.
ZeeBlu created a clean, elegant website with high-definition photography of their staff, location, and products while also focusing on featuring the brand name vendors their customers know and recognize. Now Hayward’s doesn’t have to drive traffic to competitor websites. They can refer customers directly to their online galleries, where any product featured can be ordered by the store and delivered to the customer. Their new Facebook page draws from the online trend of creating vision boards for room design and their video strategy incorporates the importance of finding inspiration for your home by experimenting with new arrangements, shapes, textures and colors.
“Before I met the team at ZeeBlu, I was on the digital marketing sidelines, I wasn’t really a participant, I knew about it. I didn’t have a Facebook page, I didn’t have a website, I didn’t Twitter. I didn’t do any of that stuff, but now we’re on the playing field, getting set-up, and I know with Nick and Tori and Spenser, we’ll have a great plan and a multi-faceted presence that will build my business, expand my customer base, and bring new business to me very soon.”
